I LOVE GI 


The Granville Island Business & Community Association is having an INSTAGRAM social media contest!

Starting Tuesday, January 12th, GIBCA will be asking people to tell us how much they love Granville Island and inviting them to enter our contest to win one of five $50 gift cards good for use at any store on Granville Island! Info on how merchants can participate can be found below.

This contest will run from January 12th until February 8th, 2021.

HOW TO ENTER

  1. Follow GIBCA - www.instagram.com/gibca_community
  2. Like this photo
  3. Tag the store where you would spend your $50 gift certificate
    (If you can't find them on Instagram, just name them)
  4. Make sure to follow that store
  5. In one line, tell us what you love about Granville Island
  6. Use the hashtag #IloveGI
  7. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
BONUS ENTRIES
  1. For an extra entry, tag two friends
  2. For a third entry, share post to your story

WINNERS

  • First $50 winner will be drawn on Monday, January 18th at 5pm PST
  • Second $50 winner will be drawn on Monday, January 25th at 5pm PST
  • Third $50 winner will be drawn on Monday, February 1st at 5pm PST
  • The fourth winner will be drawn on Monday, February 8th at 5pm PST
  • The fifth and FINAL winner will be drawn on Sunday, February 14th at 5pm PST

All winners will be randomly drawn and will be contacted privately, within 24 hours of each draw, before being publicly announced on the GIBCA Instagram account.
GIBCA will arrange with the winner how best to deliver the gift certificate for the store that the winner has chosen.

  • This contest is open to residents of British Columbia only 
  • Certificates are not valid for online purchases
  • This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. GIBCA just wants to share some GI love.

MERCHANTS FAQ

Merchants will be contacted if their store is chosen by one of the five winners. 

GIBCA will arrange the purchase of a $50 gift certificate for the store that the winner has chosen.

Merchants can participate by sharing our post about the contest. You don't have to include the rules but let your followers know that they have to enter on GIBCA's instagram page. Copy the CONTEST image below and use it on your post!

BONUS FOR MERCHANTS

At the end of the campaign, the store that was mentioned the most times will win a $100 gift certificate to Dockside Restaurant.
